Working with a group of collaborators within Blue Sky Project, material culture will be the creative methodology in the development of installation works that will become visual stories based on the relationship between found objects, images and materials. The underlying premise is that these elements reflect the values, beliefs, ideas, attitudes, and assumptions of the larger society to which they belong. The proposed project will focus on how the collaborative group will work with, examine, and interpret objects and artifacts in creating visual interpretations or reflections of our own physical world. The end result will be a visual and intellectual dialogue in the context of contemporary installation from a material culture perspective. Specifically, the group will work with the subject of water and address how water is connected to our own society and culture.
